Just a quick update on Squirrel FM: People apparently still like what we’re serving up. When I last shared on this back in January 2019, we were close to serving 140,000 streams a month. For May 2019 we just bumped up against 350,000 streams served a month. That’s some solid growth: Here’s hoping it continues…

Today was spent creating some bumpers for use with Radio Hanna. We’re setting things up on our RadioDJ software to make it easier for the main and remote systems with on-location announcers to toggle back and forth. For this coming school year, everything is automated through events.
Some fairly hefty price changes at Mixlr.com, the livecasting service we use for Radio Hanna, prompted us to look around for alternatives. The original reason for going with Mixlr was that their software and interface was the friendliest available with the shallowest learning curve for students and teachers.
